Entirely hand finished and Made in Switzerland, the watch is polished, and satin brushed throughout to a very high standard, again synonymous with Glycine. They even made an extra effort to have high refined bevel lines on each side that runs flushed through the sides. Further, it features classic field watch bezel, a solid high polished stepped bezel (another detail) that is rather svelte, yet balancing exceptionally well with the mid-case. The Combat 6 Military is water resistant to a modest 50m like most military watches.
|True to 60s “MIL-W-3818B” specifications|
The design theme continues onto the dial and probably one of the highlights of the watch. The dial closely resembles its predecessor and based true to the 60s “MIL-W-3818B” specifications. A cool silver dial with applied “triangle” hour plots on the periphery, with Arabic military hours on the inside that further flanks the military 24 hours. The applied hour plots filled with a good amount of SuperLuminova for superb glow-in-the-dark. The Glycine signature hands are also true to the “MIL-W-3818B” design and filled with matching SuperLuminova.
