Since the company's conception in 2006, Dievas Watch Company has forged an astute reputation amongst watch collectors and enthusiasts alike for their striking good looks, reliability, innovation, and exceptional value. The company with German's indisputable engineering philosophy. Has succeeded in molding a cohesive blueprint that is culpable for current and impending Dievas watch collections that illustrate not only striking originality but also embellishing classic lines, reminiscent of specific historical vintage watches. For more than a decade, the Vortex, Time-attack, Shadow, and Focal models have been endlessly providing watch enthusiasts quality and robustness in timekeeping everywhere they are daily with over-built specifications. Now in 2019, Dievas found the right time to revamp and improve their collections while keeping their classic DNA. We now like to introduce to you the all-new Phantom that fits today's customer perception of how a sleek blackout reliable timepiece should wear and built.

A shade or comparative darkness. That is the consciousness attached to the new Dievas Phantom from our tactical range of field watches. A spy name that copulates visions of secrecy and imagination. The inspiration is to design a watch loaded with the best technology while not compromising visual impact and at the same time, be versatile enough to be used daily.

Dievas Phantom

Springing from extremely positive reception the original Dievas Shadow blacked-out model received, Dievas Watch Company went on the exact route of cumulating the highest engineering specifications and product design to present the latest Phantom, a term synonymous with nautical and fluid dynamics consummating an integral part of professional under-water timing instrument design.

Like the previous close sibling- the Shadow, the Phantom's built is done so meticulously - CNC and milled in Germany from locally sourced high-grade 316L stainless steel. Upon close inspection of the case, one can marvel at the precision applied while turning the steel rods. Employing tight tolerances making sure every angle and contours burred according to precise specifications to an exact millimeter.

After inspecting the case for imperfections, trained perfectionist watchmakers will manually finish the case. The process is extremely time consuming and painstakingly repeated until the desired finish
attained to their satisfaction.

3 Dimensional hour markers in signature fonts

The next step will be getting the whole case treated with black DLC treatment (Diamond-like coating), and then sandblasted finished to stay coherent with the tactical tool watch theme. This entire process fabricated entirely in Germany. The most "Teutonic" unsurpassed superlative quality portrayed by the well defined, clean lines and perfectly finished edges throughout the case. It adheres to a compromise between the demands of traditional watch aficionados and the military man on his specialized job.

The case is then treated with a special coating to provide scratch-protection and extra corrosion resistance.

The Phantom been a watch designed as a precise timekeeping instrument for currently active military, security, and rescue personnel, overbuilt to withstand harsh conditions on land, sea, and air. It measures at 41mm wide from top bezel, while 39mm at its mid-case section, and from the bottom to the top again at remarkable 13mm in height. What's more, the angular lugs, which is a signature for Dievas collection, only has a lug to lug distance of 46.5mm, resulting in exceptional wearability for wearers with any wrist size.

Signature "Destro" lefty crown placement

Complying with the designation of a robust utility watch, the all new Phantom comes with a sturdy and precise 120-click ceramic timing bezel with 30 sized-grooves for easy manipulation. The clear-cut proportions show both the strength and power the case is an expression of. The neat chamfers, sleek lines and flat surfaces seamlessly exhibit minimal design, giving the Phantom its original looks like its predecessors. The details on the lugs are significant, like for instance, the additional bevel lines between the top and side profile, adding many dimensions for the wearer.

Another well-built feature goes to the increased water-resistant to withstand a professional dive watch worthy 500metres and in excess, added an automatic Helium Release Valve (HEV) that have matte grey finishing to give a nice contrast, with its intention for one for a task that is to undergo saturation diving.

The Phantom is finally sealed with a thick blemish-free swiss grade flat sapphire crystal that is treated with military grade anti-reflective coating for improved readability. Each Phantom has a serial number individually engraved onto the case back with the watch's essential information.

Superluminova

Undoubtedly, the watch dial accentuates the "Phantom" theme of the Dievas Phantom. Following its predecessor's early design DNA, think the Shadow and Reaper. The Phantom will be preferred and put to use as an accurate timing instrument by military personnel, only a less unorthodox, no-nonsense, uncluttered, and highly legible design is deem fitting. As such, the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock exaggerated sharp teeth markers together show design traits symbolizing the artificial horizon, an essential cockpit flight instrument. The rest of the markers done in round plots like those found on professional dive watches, further set with double-digit minute markers applied meticulously on the rehaut every 5-minute increments, all done for the first time. Dievas retains the signature "tennis ball yellow" tone for all its hour markers and handset, giving a solid contrast that allows the wearer to tell time right at a glance without distracted by anything else that is secondary. This effect is straight-up quirky yet sleek, and hey, what can beat the combination of a black and yellow theme?

What's new to the Phantom is the additional date placed in-between 4 and 5 without cutting the hour markers. Dievas made an effort to re-design the date disk to have it perfectly aligned at that position, while the date font's color is matching the rest of the dial. The double line "Dievas Automatic" logo at the top is well-thought-out as to balance with the clean "Phantom 500m" text at the bottom of the dial that further been done in gloss black to match the rehaut and minute markers. How cool is that? The tone-on-tone touch allows one to know just slightly that the texts and information are there but not right in your face type while having focused primarily on the essentials that are all done in "tennis ball yellow." This results in an upsurge in utilitarian on this hitherto German robust designed, thorough professional tool watch.

Matching Dievas Buckle In Similar Design Language

Copious amounts of Swiss super luminous applied over all the minute markers, bezel markers, and the aviation handset, enabling them to glow to a consistent bright green lume in low light conditions.

Focus primarily on attention to detail; the watch is powered by ETA's automatic caliber, ETA2824-2, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 hertz) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 40 hours.

Accompanying the watch is a matching black calf leather strap with subtle texture on the surface. Made in Germany like the watch, the leather strap complements the whole blacked-out tool watch look, paired harmoniously. The matte DLC finished tang buckle specifically designed by Dievas with angled bevel lines on its sides to match the shape of the Phantom case.

German military specifications: 500m WR, Sandblasted case

All in all, the latest Dievas Phantom caters to watch enthusiasts who have clear conscious of looking out to acquire an indubitably German tool watch that wears so well in today's time, yet uniquely shouts Dievas for the blacked-out theme. The additional features and details of the new Phantom indeed welcome over its predecessor. From the blasted black DLC utilitarian look with additional scratch-resistant coating throughout the 500m case with the ceramic bezel to its customized tang buckle, the amount of effort and thought that Dievas consistently puts into their watches can be seen and believed by its wearers until today.
