Born in 1999 in Tokyo, Horigome began skateboarding when he was six. After a flourishing start to his career, Horigome won the World Championship for the first time in 2021.Horigome’s influence in skateboarding and streetwear unsurprisingly lends credence to the SBSA175 with the trademark streetwear camouflage pattern on its dial and black coating on its case.

Modeled on the SKX Series, with diving design elements and a rotating bezel, the SBSA175 measures 42.5mm in diameter, 13.4mm in thickness and 46 mm in its lug-to-lug. Furthermore, it has a steel case with a black hard coating, accentuating the “street coolness” in black-out mode. The crystal is Hardlex and the water-resistance is a good 100 meters, enabling some water adventures. Note that the strap of this version is a black silicone band with a three-fold clasp for class and versatility, in tandem to its full black-out appeal.

Horigome’s signature and the serial number of total 6000 pieces are engraved on the back, though we all know within theres only 700 pieces are JDMs. It further bedecks the automatic caliber 4R36 with 24 jewels under a see-through caseback. This movement has a solid 41-hour power reserve, 3Hz frequency,hand-wound and stop-seconds features. Besides, the day and date are also showcased for added time dimensions. Additional features include a unidirectional rotating bezel and a push-pull crown. 

The dial remains the unique value of this edition with its textured camouflage pattern present in varying hues of black and gray.
